I currently hold a position as a full-time assistant professor Head and Neck Surgery at Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands. I am a head and neck surgeon with general interest in all head and neck oncology with an additional focus in mucosal and cutaneous melanoma. I completed my head and neck oncology fellowship from 2020 till 2022 in the Dutch Cancer Institute NKI-AvL and Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands and successfully completed the IFHNOS fellowship with honors. My PhD focused on development and implementation of patient reported outcome measures in Otorhinolaryngology.
