The European Academy of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery will arrange a meeting with the support of EUFOS in Mannheim, Germany June 27-30, 2009. The main goal of this meeting is to be the first European ORL- HNS educational meeting covering all aspects.

This will be a low cost educational meeting focusing on instructional courses, panels, state of the art presentations and perhaps pro and cons discussions. Scientific sessions with proffered papers will not be arranged, but to enable active participation of especially younger colleagues organized poster exhibition with poster rounds will be available. The "Poster presentations à 3 minutes" will be integrated into the "Round Table" Sessions, aiming to combine younger presenters with experienced people who will then take over the RT-Discussion panel.

It is the idea of the organization to have all IC evaluated. The evaluation will help to select IC for the EUFOS Congress (July 2-6, 2011 in Barcelona). A large exhibition presenting the latest discoveries and products in the field will be available.
